How to get there
The Festival's address is Kings Meadow, Napier Road, Reading, RG1 8BN.
If you put that postcode into Streetmap or Multimap, it points roughly to the festival entrance.
From In Town
The festival site is 10 minutes walk from Reading railway station. The location map is on the left.
Reading Buses runs a comprehensive network within the town and most routes serve Reading bus station, which is adjacent to the railway station. Other local routes are operated by Thames Travel, First Group and Arriva - see their websites for details and timetables.
Starting from the station, take the main exit. You should find the Three Guineas pub on your right and a statue of King Edward roughly ahead of you on a roundabout. Turn left and go past the Railair coach stop. Continue along that road, past Apex Plaza (the big pink office building) until you get to a big roundabout. Turn left and go under the railway bridge. At the next roundabout turn right (use the pedestrian crossing just before the roundabout). Go down Napier Road, past Coopers BMW garage, and the festival site is on the left hand side in Kings Meadow.
From Out of Town
By Train: This is the best way to get to Reading. Reading station is the second busiest station outside London and main services are as follows.
First Great Western - High speed trains linking Reading to London Paddington, South Wales and the West Country, also local services linking Reading to Gatwick Airport, Basingstoke, Newbury and Oxford.
Cross Country Trains - as the name suggests, the national network linking Reading with most parts of the country.
South West Trains - outer suburban services from London Waterloo to Reading.

By Road: This is more difficult but if you need to drive, this is what you do. The routes below are the easiest, not necessarily the shortest!
From the east, leave the M4 at Junction 10 and follow the A329(M) northbound. It becomes the A3290. Leave at the A4 (Suttons Seeds junction) and turn left. Stay in the second lane past several sets of traffic lights. After a while, just after a Murco petrol station, there should be signs for "Town Centre, Caversham and Henley" pointing down a road to the right. Turn right here and, at the end of the road, turn right again. You should now be on a big dual carriageway (the Inner Distribution Road). Follow the dual carriageway as it bends to the left, past Reading Gaol, then as it turns to the right under the railway line. Immediately after passing under the railway, turn right at the next roundabout (probably signposted Hypermarket). The Festival entrance is on your left, just after Kings Meadow Road and before the car park.
From the south and west, leave the M4 at Junction 11 and take the A33 northbound. After about 6 km you'll reach a junction with a big dual carriageway (the Inner Distribution Road). Continue straight on. After a while you'll pass under the railway then, soon after, you'll reach a roundabout with TGI Friday's restaurant on the right. Turn right, then at the next roundabout go straight on (probably signposted Hypermarket). The Festival entrance is on your left, just after Kings Meadow Road and before the car park.
From the north, head through Caversham centre and cross the river Thames. Continue straight on until you reach a roundabout by the station car park. Go straight across (probably signposted Hypermarket) and the Festival entrance is on your left, just after Kings Meadow Road and before the car park.
Limited parking is available at a small pay and display car park adjacent to the Festival site in Kings Meadow. More parking is available just north of the Thames, on the right, at Hills Meadow pay and display (although note there's a funfair on there at the same time as the Festival, so space may be limited). There is also an expensive multi-storey at Reading station.
For disabled parking, please contact a steward on arrival (one of the people wearing orange sweatshirts or high visibility vests).
